The Money Market Portfolio

The Money Market portfolio consists primarily of cash and money market instruments, and at times other short-term fixed income instruments. It aims to offer stable returns with a high level of capital preservation. This portfolio is best suited to members with a very low-risk tolerance and short term horizon, in other words best suited to CRF members that are close to retirement and are looking for capital preservation. Over the longer-term, returns are not expected to be as high as other CRF portfolios.
